great staff but room could use improvements

The hotel grounds featured stunning tropical landscaping, allowing for a serene atmosphere as we walked to the beach. Every dining experience was excellent, particularly the Asian restaurant, which offered a delightful variety of dishes. The staff's attentiveness stood out, ensuring that everything from the cleaning to the dining was executed flawlessly. We truly appreciated the garden view from our Junior Suite, creating a relaxing backdrop for our stay.

The air conditioning unit in our room made some strange noises at night, disrupting our sleep.

i almost thought this place would be special, but the newly implemented restaurant reservation system? an absolute disaster. not to mention, i woudl ve loved a room upgrade, especially after my sink only had hot water. certainly not the treatment i expected for my ‘luxurious’ stay.

Our room was outdated and poorly maintained. The plumbing issues were frustrating, as we experienced frequent water outages. Additionally, the staff was unhelpful, especially during our airport transfer debacle, which led to an unnecessarily early arrival and no breakfast provisions.

the grounds were beautifully landscaped with meandering paths and plenty of beach beds. the premium junior suite had a flat-screen TV, minibar, shower, and outdoor furniture on the terrace. loved the yoga classes and volleyball organized by the entertainment team, they really brought energy to the place. breakfast buffet was great with fresh fruits.

I particularly enjoyed the delicious food at the restaurants, especially the beef filet at the Italian venue and the various appetizers at the Asian restaurant, Klay Talay. The cleaning staff and service team were exceptionally attentive, ensuring our needs were met, and providing a clean environment throughout the stay.

It was just a nice choice for a weekend breather in Xpu Ha with value for price. The staff was well-coordinated, making my stay enjoyable overall. Bring your own beach chairs if you want a good spot on the sand.
